Never hiked to the Carlton Reserve, didn\u2019t double back north to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>alachian Trail, none of that \u2014 because he\u2019s hiding in the backyard, under the soil.<\/p>\n<p>The supposition, which caught fire on\u00a0<strong>TikTok<\/strong> last week, stems from a video, captured by a drone cam, in which the fugitive\u2019s parents can be seen in their backyard visiting an empty flowerbed. Which is why they think, naturally, he must be hiding in a secret underground bunker.<\/p>\n<p>Crazy, right? For sure. One of the big reasons critics have given for denying the underground garden bunker theory out of hand, so to speak, is that in Florida you can\u2019t have an underground bunker due to the water level in the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Is that accurate?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: A Timeline Of Gabby &amp; Brian\u2019s Doomed <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trip<\/a> And Homicide Case<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fox <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a><\/strong> reached out to experts on the matter: <strong>Ron Hubbard<\/strong>, CEO of Atlas Survival Shelters, and <strong>Gary Lynch<\/strong>, head of the Rising S Company. The shelter companies are both based in Texas, which is at the same latitude as Florida \u2014 so they would know whether the damp soil makes it impossible to install an underground bunker.<\/p>\n<p>Lynch says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s not a problem. You just have to make them heavy enough that they don\u2019t float out.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hubbard agrees it\u2019s easy enough to build such a chamber in such a climate that can keep the water out. He also says it\u2019s a simple job to install a secret entrance \u2014 something he says is actually a really common request. Not only that but the argument that the Laundries would have needed to file for permits? Hubbard admits a lot of folks don\u2019t bother with permits because there\u2019s a chance they\u2019d get turned down and a certainty they\u2019ll get delayed. Instead they just wait for their neighbors to be gone and get it done.<\/p>\n<p>Well, isn\u2019t that something? It\u2019s actually possible! But\u2026 is it\u00a0<em>probable<\/em>?? Hubbard says the chances Brian Laundrie is living in a secret shelter under the garden in his parents\u2019 backyard is \u201cabout zero.\u201d He explains:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe possibility of having a bunker there, his parents having a bunker, is absolutely 100% plausible. However, that being said, it didn\u2019t look anything like if a hand came out of the bunker to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, Hubbard examined the video and says that although secret bunker entrances under flower beds\u00a0<em>are a thing<\/em> (!!!), he doesn\u2019t think it looked like one to him. Besides, he argues, the authorities \u201cwould have figured that out by now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Would the authorities have looked into the possibility of a secret chamber under the surface of the backyard? Really? We\u2019re talking about the same police who, despite him being a person of interest in a very suspicious and controversial missing persons case, let Brian disappear from under their watch in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>But yes, you would think the FBI would have looked into this over the weekend. Right?<\/p>\n<p>Hubbard\u2019s other thought, as someone who sells bunkers, is that it\u2019s just so unlikely they have one. After all, so few people do!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou probably have 1%, or less than 1%, of the United States has bunkers. But that being said, if they have a bunker, it could be highly likely.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Huh. Hubbard\u2019s personal guess?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMy own opinion is he\u2019s gotten as far away from Florida as he could possibly go.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Seems like a reasonable guess. But for us to discount the possibility of this garden bunker theory, we\u2019re going to need a good explanation for that hand!<\/p>\n<p>What about you, Perezcious detectives??
