According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nwahomepage.com\/news\/decision-to-give-rapper-ice-cube-key-to-city-in-fayetteville-draws-criticism-from-local-religious-communities\/\"><em>KNWA Fox 24<\/em><\/a> in Arkansas, several local religious leaders are furious the Fayetteville city officials honored the gangsta rap legend with the symbolic \u201ckey to the city\u201d earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives for the religious leaders in Northwest Arkansas expressed their concerns in a letter to\u00a0city council and Mayor Lioneld Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are concerned such actions by the city will bolster anti-Semitism in the region and state,\u201d the letter read. \u201cAt the very least, the gift of such a key to Ice Cube represents tacit <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roval of his views, which are not only anti-Semitic, but also misogynist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA quick search of his statements on women and Jews will very quickly discover multiple statements too harsh to reproduce in a letter to the editor for the paper. He\u00a0was simultaneously accused of posting anti-Semitic propaganda, prompting <em>The Daily Beast<\/em>\u00a0to run an entire expos\u00e9 about Cube\u2019s alleged anti-Semitic past.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Cube filed a cease-and-desist letter against writers Charlie Nash of Mediaite and Marlow Stern of <em>The Daily Beast.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t play with me,\u201d he tweeted at the time. \u201cThis is just phase one.\u201d He also included a photo of Stern and added, \u201cThis is Marlow Stern, the punk that\u2019s out there pushing that poison.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Don\u2019t play with me.
