You could be taking notes on a talk, but you could also just feel like watching your favorite Netflix show while you\u2019re getting some work done.<\/p>\n<p>Some sites offer their own implementations of Picture in Picture, but some are lackluster. Using YouTube\u2019s Picture in Picture, for example, means that the video dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears as soon as you go to another website. Use your browser\u2019s Picture in Picture, and this isn\u2019t a problem any longer.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Watch_Picture_in_Picture_in_Safari\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_1\">How to Watch Picture in Picture in Safari<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On most websites, the built-in Safari browser on macOS makes watching Picture in Picture a breeze. You can resize this window to your liking and place it wherever you like. It will even stay where you put it across <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/180677\/mission-control-101-how-to-use-multiple-desktops-on-a-mac\/\">multiple virtual desktops if you use them.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"YouTube_and_Netflix\"><\/span>YouTube and Netflix<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Not every website works perfectly with Safari\u2019s built-in Picture in Picture. YouTube, for example, uses its own menus on videos, which makes it seem like Picture in Picture is unavailable. Fortunately, this isn\u2019t the case.<\/p>\n<p>For YouTube videos in Safari, you only need to Ctrl+click or right-click on the video twice. The first click pops up YouTube\u2019s own menu, but the second click opens the standard Safari menu. Once this pops up, just click \u201cEnter Picture in Picture\u201d and you\u2019re all set.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix is slightly trickier, as you don\u2019t get any menu when you right-click the video. Instead, start playing the video. For most sites, it\u2019s as simple as Ctrl+click or right-click on a video, then select \u201cPicture in Picture\u201d to start watching.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use the Media Control icon to watch videos in Picture in Picture mode. Click the Media Control icon, which looks like a musical note and three lines. If it\u2019s your first time using the feature, Firefox will even make it super obvious on videos from YouTube and other sites. Simply mouse over a video, click that icon, and you\u2019ll be watching in Picture in Picture mode. In some cases, the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/pipifier\/id1160374471?mt=12\">PiPifier extension for Safari<\/a> will enable Picture in Picture, but not always.<\/p>\n<p>With certain sites, you may be stuck using a pop-out window, assuming the site offers this option. This isn\u2019t a perfect solution, but it\u2019s better than nothing.
