{"id":354267,"date":"2021-10-18T05:33:54","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T02:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/extreme-on-hold-after-stunt-goes-wrong\/"},"modified":"2021-10-18T05:33:54","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T02:33:54","slug":"extreme-on-hold-after-stunt-goes-wrong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/extreme-on-hold-after-stunt-goes-wrong\/","title":{"rendered":"#Extreme&#8217; on hold after stunt goes wrong"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Extreme&#8217; on hold after stunt goes wrong<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent: Extreme\u201d has been suspended by NBC after one of the show\u2019s stuntmen was critically injured when he was crushed between two cars in a stunt gone terribly wrong last week, the network announced on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Daredevil Jonathan Goodwin barely survived after he was sandwiched between two vehicles suspended 70 feet in the air,\u00a0 horrifying video of the accident shows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn order to focus on the wellbeing of our crew, we will be temporarily pausing production on \u2018America\u2019s Got Talent: Extreme\u2019 and will resume the last few days of filming at a later date, a spokesperson for the NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/america-s-got-talent-shares-update-jonathan-goodwin-t234603?utm_campaign=likeshopme-gallery&amp;cid=sm_npd_td_in_td-bio_180511&amp;utm_medium=instagram&amp;utm_source=dash%20hudson&amp;utm_content=www.instagram.com\/p\/CVJo7qCsT_h\/\">told TODAY on Sunday<\/a>. \u201cThe health and safety of our cast and crew continue to be our priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thoughts and prayers remain with Jonathan Goodwin and his family as he continues to recover from his accident on Thursday,\u201d the Network said.<\/p>\n<p>The near-fatal accident h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened at Atlanta Motor Speedway during rehearsal for the spinoff of NBC\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.11alive.com\/article\/news\/local\/agt-extreme-contestant-hospitalized-stunt-goes-wrong-atlanta-motor-speedway\/85-bc654aa0-3b0c-4d15-9ff8-0d75eb9f7580\">according to local news outlet 11 Alive.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Goodwin was supposed to free himself from a straight jacket while dangling from his feet between the two swinging cars, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/10\/15\/agt-extreme-accident-crash-stuntman-jonathan-goodwin\/\">TMZ reported<\/a>. Instead, the cars slammed into the stuntman before exploding into a ball of fire. No premiere date has been announced.<\/p>\n<p>Goodwin was a semi-finalist on season 15 of \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent\u201d in 2020.
