During an interview with <em>The Breakfast Club<\/em>, Thugger revealed that he eerily recorded the song alongside Mac at his studio the day before the Pittsburgh native died in September of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was with Mac the day before he died,\u201d Thug admitted. \u201cHe was at my studio and we did the song on my album. This shit is so crazy but coincidental. He came to the studio and did the song with me and the next day he died. And the name of the song is \u2018Day Before.\u2019 But the song is about like women \u2026 It was like flamboyant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think deep on that because is that a sign? At some point, you\u2019re wondering why? Have you ever just wished God could really talk to you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDay Before\u201d serves as the outro on <em>Punk.<\/em> The soothing track is produced by Verzache and leaked in 2019 with another verse from <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trip<\/a>pie Redd.
