A new Mobile Suit Gundam game titled MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy<\/em> has been announced. Described as a \u201csingle-player battle action game\u201d that maintains \u201cthe same control feel\u201d of the free-to-play MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2<\/em> multiplayer game, it is set to release on November 4 for PS4 and PS5.<\/span><\/p>\n

BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy\u00a0<\/em>takes place in North America during the One Year War. The story follows three Zeon pilots \u2014 Alma Stirner, Helena Hegel, and Mia Brinkman \u2014 who are part of the secret Noisy Fairy unit that is under Kycilia Zabi\u2019s direct control. The anime<\/a> parts of the game feature Masayoshi Tanaka<\/strong> (Weathering With You<\/em> co-character designer, Her Blue Sky<\/em>) as character designer and Toshikazu Yoshizawa<\/strong> (Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative<\/em> director) as director, storyboarder, and animation director. <\/span><\/p>\n

The story is divided into three volumes, which release on November 5, November 19, and December 3 respectively. Each volume contains five episodes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third-person action game will feature voice chat commands and a \u201cNext Target Link System,\u201d in addition to pilot skills and mobile suit customization that includes upgrades like health-boosting leg armor and melee-enhancing programs. Aside from the main story and its \u201cunpredictable\u201d missions, there will be Situations and Cost Matches, with the latter offering \u201csimple battles with cost limits\u201d and quicker redeploy times.<\/span><\/p>\n

BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy <\/em>will offer linked save data functionality with BATTLE OPERATION 2<\/em>. Players can also obtain a BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy<\/em> unit for the latter by completing a special mission. Conversely, completing a special task in BATTLE OPERATION 2\u00a0<\/em>will unlock an additional BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy\u00a0<\/em>mission.<\/span><\/p>\n

BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy\u00a0<\/em>will have a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Both versions come with a\u00a0PSN Avatar Set, as well as a Zanny [Ground Type] LV1 unit and 100,000 DP for BATTLE OPERATION 2<\/em>. Pre-purchasing will grant buyers one-day early access to the second and third volumes, while purchasing the game on November 4 will provide early access to the first volume.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Deluxe Edition also includes additional BATTLE OPERATION 2<\/em> bonuses like a Unit \u201cHigh Mobility Zaku Ground Type (AS) LV1,\u201d six Avatar Costumes \u201cT-Shirt,\u201d and Operator \u201cVR Operator Alma.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
