According to the NBA, Coinbase will create \u201cunique content, innovations, activations and experiences\u201d for basketball fans to learn about the crypto space, as well as be a partner of the WNBA Commissioner\u2019s Cup, the USA Basketball men\u2019s and women\u2019s national team exhibition tours and the NBA G League Ignite.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase chief marketing officer Kate Rouch said the partnership would involve \u201cinteractive experiences to engage with the NBA and WNBA\u2019s incredible community and athletes around the world.\u201d The announcement comes as the NBA prepares to start its 2021\u20132022 season, marking the association\u2019s 75th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Fan tokens: Day trading your favorite sports team<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to data from Statista, an average of 1.6 million people <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/289993\/nba-number-of-tv-viewers-usa\/\">watched<\/a> NBA regular-season <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s across major networks during the 2019\u20132020 season. Coinbase said it would be featured during nationally televised NBA games.<\/p>\n<p>Many crypto companies and platforms have formed partnerships with sports organizations across the globe as the space expands and seemingly becomes more profitable as a sponsor.
