\n As if it weren\u2019t already getting enough heat, \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d is now reportedly being investigated by WarnerMedia following a slew of allegations against the workplace.<\/p>\n

Executives from Warner Bros. Television and show producer Telepictures distributed a memo to show staff last week which stated WarnerMedia\u2019s employee relations group and a third-party firm would begin looking into the matter by interviewing former and current staff members, according\u00a0to Variety,<\/p>\n

While the third-party firm was not named, the internal investigation comes after allegations of insensitive and racist incidents surfaced earlier this month, followed by the subsequent \u201ccanceling\u201d of DeGeneres, 62, and her show by the Twitter-verse. When reached by The Post for comment about cancellation rumors at that time, DeGeneres\u2019 production company representatives said, \u201cTelepictures can confirm it\u2019s untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n

But this isn\u2019t the first time someone is speaking out against the show, its employees and its host.<\/p>\n

In March, comedian Kevin Porter dubbed DeGeneres \u201cone of the meanest people alive\u201d and launched a viral Twitter thread, calling for anyone who encountered DeGeneres to respond with \u201cinsane\u201d stories about \u201cEllen being mean.\u201d He received thousands of replies.<\/p>\n

\u201cA new staff member was told, \u2018Every day she picks someone different to really hate. It\u2019s not your fault, just suck it up for the day and she\u2019ll be mean to someone else the next day.\u2019 They didn\u2019t believe it, but it ended up being entirely true,\u201d TV writer Ben Simeon wrote in one response.<\/p>\n

From workplace hostility to complaining about a waitress\u2019 nails at a restaurant, insiders in DeGeneres\u2019 social circles are raising questions about the message she recites at the end of each show, to \u201cbe kind to one another.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
