Maybe it still is enough of a secret,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to Thiel, the latest Bitcoin rally is definitely a big concern for global central banks. The cryptocurrency\u2019s surge to its new historical highs \u201csurely tells us that we are at a complete bankruptcy moment for the central banks,\u201d Thiel stated.<\/p>\n<p>In the interview, Thiel also criticized AI as an opponent to crypto\u2019s force for decentralization. \u201cAI, especially the sort of low-tech, surveillance form, is essentially communist,\u201d he said, adding that AI is <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> that is \u201cgoing to destroy the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Bitcoin briefly flippens Swiss franc after rally to new ATH<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thiel is one of the most vocal proponents of Bitcoin, claiming that Bitcoin succeeded as currency in 2014. The venture capitalist is also known for calling Bitcoin \u201ca hedge against the whole world falling apart.\u201d Earlier this year, the venture capitalist warned that the Chinese central government may be supporting Bitcoin as a means to undermine the foreign and monetary policy of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>PayPal, which Thiel co-founded back in 1998, has been moving into crypto over the past year. The company officially announced\u00a0its plans to introduce the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin last October.
