According to the AP, it will be publishing data on-chain for developers to access and reference in any relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lications, in addition to providing information on upcoming elections and serving artists working with nonfungible tokens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChainlink <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> is the ideal way to provide smart contract developers anywhere in the world with direct, on-demand access to AP\u2019s trusted economic, sports, and race call data\u201d said AP director of blockchain and data licensing Dwayne Desaulniers. \u201cWorking with Chainlink allows this information to be compatible with any blockchain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The AP said its primary reason for the shift to blockchain was \u201ctrust,\u201d in that the on-chain data it provided would be \u201ca publicly accessible, safe and secure record of verified information.\u201d The news agency added it would be open to shifting its approach based on the response from developers as it kept &#8220;a finger on the pulse of the blockchain economy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Blockchain in journalism: Winds of change carry <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> to new frontiers<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is not the news agency\u2019s first foray into blockchain technology. The AP was reportedly interested in exploring ways to secure intellectual property rights, support ethical journalism, and track content usage when it partnered with blockchain-based journalism startup Civil in 2018.
