{"id":356306,"date":"2021-10-21T23:41:48","date_gmt":"2021-10-21T20:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/iphones-can-reveal-where-and-when-it-will-rain-on-hidden-map\/"},"modified":"2021-10-21T23:41:48","modified_gmt":"2021-10-21T20:41:48","slug":"iphones-can-reveal-where-and-when-it-will-rain-on-hidden-map","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/iphones-can-reveal-where-and-when-it-will-rain-on-hidden-map\/","title":{"rendered":"#iPhones can reveal where and when it will rain on hidden map"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#iPhones can reveal where and when it will rain on hidden map<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/weather.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Your iPhone has a a hidden weather map that tells you exactly where it\u2019s going to rain.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also possible to scroll along the time of the day, so you can see when the rain will be at its worst in your local area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s Weather app hasn\u2019t always been brilliant \u2013 and has occasionally been mocked for being a bit rubbish.<\/p>\n<p>But with the latest iOS 15 update, the iPhone Weather app is significantly improved.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s partly linked to the fact that Apple bought up beloved weather app Dark Sky \u2013 and appears to have used some of that tech to improve Weather.<\/p>\n<p>There are loads of changes to Weather in the latest update, but one of the best features is the rain map.<\/p>\n<p>First, make sure you\u2019ve updated to the latest version of iOS.<\/p>\n<p>Go to Settings &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> &gt; Software Update and check that you\u2019re running iOS 15. If you\u2019re not then update.<\/p>\n<p>Next, launch the Weather app \u2013 it\u2019s installed on your iPhone by default.<\/p>\n<p>Then tap the map icon in the bottom-left corner of the app.<\/p>\n<p>Now tap the three squares stacked on top of each other in the top right.<\/p>\n<p>Choose Precipitation and you\u2019ll be able to see a rolling forecast of rain as it moves around you.<\/p>\n<p>You can zoom in and out to get a better view.<\/p>\n<p>Closer to bright blue means very little rain, while purple into yellow into white signifies heavier precipitation.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the bar along the bottom of the screen to move through time.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>And if that\u2019s disappeared, just tap the screen to bring it back.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the bar at the bottom of the screen to scroll along through the time of day.<\/p>\n<p>This will show the precipitation moving across cities, countries and the world at large.<\/p>\n<p>So you can see exactly where and when the rain will arrive \u2013 and when it\u2019ll be at its worst.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this is all predictive so the map might not be exactly right \u2013 but that\u2019s always the case with the weather.<\/p>\n<p>There are some other maps you can also take advantage of in the iPhone Weather app.<\/p>\n<p>A similar map in the same section reveals temperature using a heat map.<\/p>\n<p>So darker red means very hot temperatures, while blue signifies cold.<\/p>\n<p>And there\u2019s also an air quality map too \u2013 which may be depressing if you live in a big city.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
