That, combined with the total 370-step ascent and descent, lasts up to two hours.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers say City Climb is also the highest external building climb in the world \u2014 but much to New York\u2019s chagrin, it isn\u2019t the first. <\/p>\n<p>In August 2011, downtown Toronto\u2019s CN Tower opened its EdgeWalk attraction, the first of its kind in North America.
