But now we\u2019re in the second week of Michelle\u2019s journey and it\u2019s clear she\u2019s looking to put all the drama behind her, but something tells me that\u2019s not going to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_group_date\"><\/span>The group date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The week kicks off with the first group date of the season, and Brandon, Romeo, Rick, PJ, Will, Olumide, Casey, Daniel, LT, and Peter are the lucky men chosen to attend. Since Michelle is a teacher, she decides to test just how smart these guys are by taking them on a school-themed date. The best part? She invited three middle-schoolers to help her out. It didn\u2019t take long to figure out these guys are not, in fact, smarter than a fifth-grader.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVgvNMclVkd\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tensions rise when the men are asked to spell the word \u201cnarcissist\u201d and as a joke, Will writes Peter\u2019s name down. Obviously not willing to let that slide, Peter pulls Will aside later that evening to confront him. The chat im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely turns into a screaming match and nothing gets accomplished.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Michelle focuses on getting some quality time with the men who are <em>not<\/em> spending their evening arguing with others. She manages to score some solid one-on-one time (and a few kisses!) with guys like Brandon and Rick, but when it\u2019s time to chat with Peter, she calls him out for getting so heated with Will. Immediately he backpedals and claims he acted out of character \u2014 but did he? I don\u2019t think so\u2026 only time will tell.<\/p>\n<p>When it\u2019s time to hand out the group date rose, Michelle offers it to Brandon.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_one-on-one_date\"><\/span>The one-on-one date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Jamie gets the first one-on-one date of the season, but his reaction to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> is a little unexpected. Instead of appearing excited, he immediately says how this date will be a perfect opportunity for him to see if Michelle is right for <em>him<\/em> and is able to fit into <em>his <\/em>life. Uh oh.<\/p>\n<p>The two head to Joshua Tree National Park to go rock climbing and have a picnic, and Michelle seems totally smitten with Jamie. \u201cI feel like today Jamie and I have this beautiful moment and it sinks in that I truly feel so happy and so grateful that he\u2019s here,\u201d she says. \u201cWe\u2019re on the right track.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later at dinner, Jamie opens up about his difficult upbringing. He shares that his mother struggled with mental health, and recalls one time when he saw her attempting to slit her wrists with a steak knife. He was only 12 years old at the time and would skip school to stay home because he was fearful of leaving his mother alone. By the time he turned 24, he sadly lost his mother to suicide. But his loss has made him appreciate relationships that much more.<\/p>\n<p>Michelle is clearly moved by Jamie\u2019s strength. \u201cI think it\u2019s amazing that you\u2019ve been able to navigate through this,\u201d she shares, before offering him a rose. \u201cFor you to be this beautiful person sitting right here in front of me, I\u2019m beyond impressed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The evening ends with a private concert by Caroline James. Because of course it does.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_second_group_date\"><\/span>The second group date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Joe, Martin, Nayte, Rodney, Spencer, Pardeep, Mollique, Chris, and Clayton are invited on the basketball-themed date because Michelle is \u201clooking for a teammate for life.\u201d Michelle connects with Joe very easily on the court, as they are both basketball players from Minnesota and share that in common. After running a few drills, the group splits into teams of five for the Bachelorette\u2019s Basketball Battle, with the winning team getting time alone with Michelle. Though Joe\u2019s team didn\u2019t win, conveniently there\u2019s an MVP award that\u2019s given to one man and grants him access to the afterparty\u2026 and that man is of course Joe.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVg3ACJsyB5\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the afterparty, Joe\u2019s chemistry with Michelle is off the charts. They have a magnetic connection \u2014 whether it\u2019s because of their love for basketball or the fact that they\u2019re both from Minnesota \u2014 it\u2019s clear they have a pull towards one another. \u201cI can see him being my teammate and today I feel like he was my teammate,\u201d Michelle admits.<\/p>\n<p>No surprise here, Joe lands the group date rose, leaving the other men wondering if he\u2019s going to be a serious threat in the house. (Spoiler alert: He probably will be?)<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_cocktail_party\"><\/span>The cocktail party<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>At the cocktail party, rumors start to swirl that Michelle may be hiding something about her relationship with Joe. Jamie claims a friend of his saw Michelle at a bar in Minneapolis prior to the show starting, and says she was already \u201cboo\u2019ed up\u201d with a \u201ctall, light-skinned baller.\u201d After spreading the rumors to several men in the house, Jamie decides to confront Michelle himself. Only when he shares that rumor with her, he takes himself completely out of the equation and claims it\u2019s the other men who are questioning her motives.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVgBJWntdUj\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Michelle addresses all of the men about this rumor and confirms that she and Joe shared a few messages years ago, but that\u2019s the extent of their relationship prior to this show. She hopes to open up a group conversation with the men, but everyone \u2014 with the exception of Jamie \u2014 appears very confused by what\u2019s going on.
