\nBella Hadid<\/strong> is standing up for her sister and making it very clear where her loyalties are.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old model took to\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> on Thursday with a low-key message that seemed to serve as a clear response to recent reports involving her sis,\u00a0Gigi Hadid<\/strong>, amid controversy involving Gigi\u2019s now-former partner,\u00a0Zayn Malik<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Of course, as we reported earlier on Thursday, Zayn and Gigi have split up following a major alleged upheaval between the former\u00a0One Direction\u00a0<\/strong>singer and the Hadid family matriarch, former\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> star\u00a0Yolanda Hadid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On her\u00a0Instagram Stories, Bella reposted a very cryptic quote considering the context of this whole situation, sharing this with the world (below):<\/p>\n

\u201cI can do nothing for you but work on myself. You can do nothing for me but work on yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hours later, that Stories post app<\/a>ears to have been taken down.<\/p>\n

Still, first off, that\u2019s just true<\/em>.\u00a0But more importantly, in relation to this situation, it\u2019s clear Bella believes \u201cyou\u201d (AKA Zayn) needs to do some serious soul-searching after allegedly shoving Yolanda into a dresser during a particularly nasty altercation at the family\u2019s home in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Zayn has denied the allegation that there was an argument which turned physical between him and Yolanda. In a prior statement made to\u00a0TMZ<\/em> about the alleged ordeal, the singer said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid. For the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nevertheless, it\u2019s clear that the Hadid family is circling ranks around Gigi\u00a0and<\/em> Yolanda. The entire family (except for Gigi) has unceremoniously unfollowed Zayn on social media<\/a>: that is, Bella,\u00a0Anwar<\/strong>, and Anwar\u2019s girlfriend\u00a0Dua Lipa<\/strong> have all dumped the former boy band crooner off their IG feeds. And while that\u2019s not, like, remotely as serious as the physical allegations here, it\u00a0does<\/em> give you a really good sense of where everyone\u2019s at mentally.<\/p>\n

Whatever happened or didn\u2019t happen between Zayn and his daughter Khai<\/strong>\u2018s grandmother, it\u2019s evident that something<\/em> is a matter of public record \u2014 even despite the artist himself proclaiming the incident to be about \u201cprivate family matters\u201d that don\u2019t merit further public discussion.<\/p>\n

As we previously reported on Friday morning, the U.K.-born singer WAS charged with four criminal offenses of harassment in the state of Pennsylvania after an alleged incident between him and Yolanda back on September 29. He apparently chose to plead no contest to the charges.<\/p>\n

For now, Gigi \u2014 and her family \u2014 appear to be ready to move on from Zayn\u00a0and<\/em> this entire ordeal. In a statement previously released to the media on Thursday, the model\u2019s rep proclaimed Gigi to be \u201csolely focused on the best\u201d for her young daughter, asking \u201cfor privacy during this time\u201d as the proverbial dust settles.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t make her situation with Zayn any easier, but certainly it must be nice for the 26-year-old supermodel to know that her little sister has her back.<\/p>\n
