{"id":360231,"date":"2021-10-30T17:20:32","date_gmt":"2021-10-30T14:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/utah-cops-to-refund-3k-charged-for-petito-laundrie-videos\/"},"modified":"2021-10-30T17:20:32","modified_gmt":"2021-10-30T14:20:32","slug":"utah-cops-to-refund-3k-charged-for-petito-laundrie-videos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/utah-cops-to-refund-3k-charged-for-petito-laundrie-videos\/","title":{"rendered":"#Utah cops to refund $3K charged for Petito-Laundrie videos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Utah cops to refund $3K charged for Petito-Laundrie videos<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>The Utah police department that released bodycam footage documenting their stop of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie will reportedly refund $3,000 in fees it collected from <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> outlets because the charges violated state law.<\/p>\n<p>The videos showed Moab cops talking to the couple on Aug. 12, after a  911 caller told cops he saw a man sl<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing a woman outside an organic grocery store, weeks before their cross country van <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> came to a tragic end.<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/news\/2021\/10\/29\/moab-charged-nearly-k\/\">Salt Lake Tribune reported<\/a> that the fees for the footage amounted to about three times what the department had expected to collect this fiscal year in records fee revenue, citing a city budget document. <\/p>\n<p>The first video the department released showed Petito, 22, crying and saying that the couple had been having \u201clittle arguments\u201d that day.
