Be sure to label your airtight container with the date and type of candy you are freezing. It\u2019s also good practice to add an expiration date so you can easily track when it needs to get dumped.<\/p>\n<p>Each type of candy has its specific guidelines for storing. Here\u2019s are a few recommendations for freezing your candy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dark Chocolate:<\/strong> Freezing dark chocolate doesn\u2019t necessarily extend the shelf life, but if you live somewhere warm, it\u2019s a good option. As long as it\u2019s sealed properly, you can keep it for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stilltasty.com\/fooditems\/index\/16860\">up to two years<\/a>.
