However, it doesn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear as though there will be any after that.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with the Mirror, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>\u2019 star (who is also the writer and director for all episodes) had the following to say about ending the show, and also resisting the temptation to just keep something going forever:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve already made my mind up there won\u2019t be a four. And you do put those things out there to make you remember as it\u2019s tempting but\u2026 there\u2019s an old saying that \u2018to lead the orchestra, you\u2019ve got to turn your back on the audience\u2019. That\u2019s true. The audience think they want another one, but they\u2019re not sure. So you\u2019ve got to be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gervais is very-much familiar with the idea of ending shows fairly early on in their run. Just consider for a second here that\u00a0<em>After Life\u00a0<\/em>is the first major series from Gervais to last for three full seasons; typically, he tends to end his shows with two seasons, with maybe a special sprinkled in there along the way. It\u2019s frustrating since you constantly want more \u2026 but wanting more is a part of what makes a show a classic. There\u2019s a reason why\u00a0<em>Extras\u00a0<\/em>and the original UK version of\u00a0<em>The Office\u00a0<\/em>remain so iconic. Ricky may be done with\u00a0<em>After Life\u00a0<\/em>after season 3, but we\u2019re sure that in due time, he is going to find another project that will be different and surprising in its own way.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, his relationship with Netflix also continues.
