Studios, according to TMZ\u2019s insider sources, though no legitimate harm has yet been reported.<\/p>\n<p>It was just three weeks ago when the current Superman \u2014 not Clark Kent, but his 17-year-old son, Jon, who donned the red cape for a new generation \u2014 was revealed to be bisexual, after a recent installment of the current <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>, \u201cSuperman: Son of Kal-El,\u201d depicted the young superhero locking lips with a \u201chacktivist\u201d reporter with a magenta mane, named Jay Nakamura.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/bisexual-superman-backlash-preview-1.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Superman\" class=\"wp-image-20001289\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/bisexual-superman-backlash-preview-1.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/bisexual-superman-backlash-preview-1.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/bisexual-superman-backlash-preview-1.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>LAPD have provided security to DC Comics staff as protests from fans over the Superman\u2019s recent coming out rose to the level of credible threats.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">John Timms\/DC Comics<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI hope this kind of thing will not be seen as a big deal in the future,\u201d DC artist John Timms <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/superman-bisexual-lgbt-jon-kent-dc\">told IGN<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Kent\u2019s Superman is said to be one more concerned with Earth\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> issues as much as threats from supervillains. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThe question for Jon (and for our creative team) is, what should a new Superman fight for today? Can a 17-year-old Superman battle giant robots while ignoring the climate crisis? Of course not,\u201d said DC writer Tom Taylor last month. \u201cCan someone with super sight and super hearing ignore injustices beyond his borders? Can he ignore the plight of asylum seekers?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among DC\u2019s critics includes Dean Cain, 55, former live-action superhero actor in \u201cLois &amp; Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,\u201d which aired from 1993 to 1997. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey said it\u2019s a bold new direction,\u201d Cain told \u201cFox &amp; Friends\u201d in a televised interview following the announcement. \u201cI say they\u2019re bandwagoning,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Superman is the latest hero to officially join the LGBTQ community \u2014 alongside Batman\u2019s sidekick Robin, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pride.com\/geek\/2020\/9\/11\/marvel-just-revealed-iconic-x-men-character-bisexual\">X-Men\u2019s Kate Pryde<\/a> and the new Captain America, all of whom came out as queer during the past year.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
