Beyond stock<br \/>\n        BBBY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/209801102\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+9.62%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       is one of the most heavily shorted, and is popular among \u201cmeme\u201d retail investors who post on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>. Tuesday\u2019s deal may have spurred a short squeeze, forcing hedge funds that had bet against the stock to buy back their shares to cut losses. After peaking above $106 in after-hours trading, shares ended the extended session up 67%, at $28.05, after closing the regular session at $16.75.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       <strong>Read: <\/strong>The meme stocks welcomed an old friend back to the fun after the markets closed<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will include popular items such as bedding and storage, and baby furniture and gear, which will be available at some Kroger grocery stores and Kroger\u2019s website starting next year, the companies said. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t miss: <\/strong>Skechers is still heading toward $10 billion in revenue despite supply chain problems<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis strategic online collaboration and in-store pilot will provide Kroger shoppers easy access to essential home and baby products alongside their favorite grocery staples,\u201d Kroger\u2019s<br \/>\n        KR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206215053\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.62%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Chief Executive Rodney McMullen said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p><strong>See also:<\/strong> Ulta to offer same-day delivery through partnership with DoorDash<\/p>\n<p>Products from Bed Bath &amp; Beyond as well as the retailer\u2019s Buy Buy Baby stores will launch on Kroger.com by early 2022, and a branded shop-in-shop experience piloted in select stores will follow, the companies said. <\/p>\n<p>Separately, Bed Bath &amp; Beyond said it expects to be done with its $1 billion, three-year share buyback plan by the end of fiscal 2021, which would be two years ahead of schedule. <\/p>\n<p>The company has bought back $600 million worth of shares since the end of fiscal 2020, and plans to repurchase the remaining $400 million over the third and fourth quarters of fiscal 2021, it said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>That \u201cunderscores our ongoing confidence in our turnaround,\u201d Bed Bath &amp; Beyond Chief Executive Mark Tritton said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p> Kroger stock rose 0.7% in the extended session.
