Photo by Kyle Mickelson (Courtesy of Artist)<br \/>\n    <\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <span class=\"credit\"><br \/>\n      \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-225509\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>            Omar Apollo and Kali Uchis have shared their second collaboration, a new track called &#8220;Bad Life.&#8221; The song features smooth production from Teo Halm and takes on the perspective of a bitter lover wishing misfortune on their ex.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            &#8220;To me, &#8216;Bad Life&#8217; represents putting&#8230;energy into a relationship and not getting anything in return,&#8221; Apollo said. &#8220;It&#8217;s a song about being resentful towards somebody \u2014 wanting them to have [a] &#8220;bad life&#8221; with whoever they&#8217;re with now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            Apollo and Uchis first joined forces just over a year ago, releasing &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=31OZ3fiilGI\">Hey Boy<\/a>&#8221; in October 2020. They&#8217;ve stayed in contact, and Uchis reached out to Apollo upon hearing about the new song.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            &#8220;I posted a snippet in January teasing it and Kali called me telling me she loved it, so I asked her if she wanted to get on it,&#8221; Apollo said. &#8220;Her voice sounds amazing on it, I love her tone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            Apollo is currently working on his debut full-length album, following two EPs, <i>Stereo<\/i> (2018) and <i>Apolonio<\/i> (2020), and a stream of singles. &#8220;Te Olvidaste,&#8221; his recent collab with C.
