{"id":362460,"date":"2021-11-04T20:11:23","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T17:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/nikola-eyes-125m-payout-to-settle-sec-charge-against-trevor-milton\/"},"modified":"2021-11-04T20:11:23","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T17:11:23","slug":"nikola-eyes-125m-payout-to-settle-sec-charge-against-trevor-milton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/nikola-eyes-125m-payout-to-settle-sec-charge-against-trevor-milton\/","title":{"rendered":"#Nikola eyes $125M payout to settle SEC charge against Trevor Milton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Nikola eyes $125M payout to settle SEC charge against Trevor Milton<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Nikola said on Thursday it was working with federal regulators to pay a $125 million penalty to settle a charge against its founder, as the electric-truck maker works on ramping up production.<\/p>\n<p>The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had charged Trevor Milton for using <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> to repeatedly mislead investors about the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> and capabilities, reaping \u201ctens of millions of dollars\u201d as a result of his misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of\u00a0Nikola, which also reported third quarter financial results, were up 13% at $14.38 in early trading.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the settlement, which was yet to be <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp;
