We couldn\u2019t access this Tweet.<\/p>\n<p>The mission team reset the instruments and resumed operations the following morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, at 2:38 a.m. EDT two days later, the science instruments again issued error codes indicating multiple losses of synchronization messages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result, the science instruments autonomously entered safe mode states as programmed,\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2021\/hubble-remains-in-safe-mode-nasa-team-investigating\">NASA wrote<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The instruments are healthy and will remain in safe mode as the mission team\u2019s investigation into the matter continues. The rest of the spacecraft is operating as per usual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMission team members are evaluating spacecraft data and system diagrams to better understand the synchronization issue and how to address it. They also are developing and testing procedures to collect additional data from the spacecraft. These activities are expected to take at least one week,\u201d NASA added.<\/p>\n<p>The Hubble Space Telescope was launched and deployed\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/hubble\/about\">by the space shuttle Discovery in 1990<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of its lifetime, it has made more than 1.4 million observations and more than 18,000 peer-reviewed science papers have been published on its discoveries.<\/p>\n<p>The telescope was\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/science\/nasas-hubble-space-telescope-goes-into-safe-mode-after-software-error\">previously in safe mode<\/a>\u00a0in March.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
