Future the future. There\u2019s a couple of people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Kanye West has shown love to Soulja Boy. During his beef with Ice-T in 2008, in which the West Coast OG accused the \u201cCrank That\u201d rapper of \u201ckilling Hip Hop,\u201d Kanye surprised many of his fans by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ballerstatus.com\/2008\/06\/23\/kanye-west-rides-with-soulja-boy-in-verbal-beef-with-ice-t\/\">siding with Soulja Boy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSoulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip-hop is supposed to be,\u201d he wrote on his now-defunct KanyeUniverseCity blog at the time. \u201cHe came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer.
