However, in Tennessee, federal, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social<\/a> Security and Medicare taxes are deducted from earned income. That left Liny with a measly $0.01 from her employer. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear how many hours Liny worked across the six-week pay period, and she did not disclose how much money she accumulated in tips within the same timeframe.<\/p>\n<p>However, in the caption of her video, the waitress writes to her TikTok followers: \u201cTip your servers!!!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Many viewers bristled at Liny\u2019s demand, with one replying: \u201cIt\u2019s not my job to pay your bills. I got my own to pay.\u201d That comment was liked a whopping 10,200 times. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlame the businesses you\u2019re working for, not the consumers,\u201d another viewer concurred. \u201cIn other countries, they don\u2019t need to tip because they pay a living wage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve easily made $4400 a month being a server. Last month, a waitress at Hooters took to TikTok saying she was cashed up thanks to generous tips. Still, the hours are grueling.<\/p>\n<p>Kristen Songer, who works at a franchise in South Carolina, claimed she bartended for seven hours on a Sunday and made a hefty $408 in tips.
