This tiny bar can hold actions you perform often like undo, redo, save, or open. However, access to it can and should be faster and easier.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Change_the_Quick_Access_Toolbars_Position\"><\/span>Why Change the Quick Access Toolbar\u2019s Position?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Here\u2019s the thing, the Quick Access Toolbar sits way on the top left of your Microsoft Office <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lication. It\u2019s above both the ribbon and the tabs. So many times, it\u2019s just quicker and simpler to grab the tool you need from one of those spots.<\/p>\n<p>But here, we\u2019ll show you how to fix this situation and get to the Quick Access Toolbar faster.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Move_the_Quick_Access_Toolbar\"><\/span>Move the Quick Access Toolbar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You may not realize it, but you can move the Quick Access Toolbar from its remote location at the top of your Office application. You can place it below the ribbon instead of above it. This gives you the quickest access to it because it\u2019s directly above your workspace.<\/p>\n<p>Click the arrow on the far right of the Quick Access Toolbar for Customize Quick Access Toolbar and select \u201cShow Below the Ribbon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-758086\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/ShowBelowRibbon-MicrosoftOfficeQuickAccessToolbar.png?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"Select Show Below Ribbon\" width=\"342\" height=\"500\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And there it goes! Meaning, just because you move it below the ribbon in Word doesn\u2019t mean it will be there when you open Excel. This flexibility lets you only relocate it in the applications where it\u2019s beneficial to you.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_tip\"><p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> You can also move the Quick Access Toolbar below the ribbon in File Explorer on Windows. Then, customize the toolbar\u2019s actions for what you use most.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_Actions_to_the_Quick_Access_Toolbar\"><\/span>Add Actions to the Quick Access Toolbar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The options for the toolbar include the most common actions for the particular application. Some actions like new, open, and save are available across all Microsoft Office applications. You can click any tab to view its tools on the ribbon when you need one.
