\nVin Diesel<\/strong> has extended an olive branch and asked Dwayne Johnson<\/strong> to return to the Fast and Furious<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n

As you may know, the last time the two stars app<\/a>eared together in the movies was in The Fate of the Furious<\/em>. Diesel and Johnson have been quarreling ever since the Jungle Cruise<\/em> star penned an infamous shady Instagram<\/strong> post in 2016 seemingly referring to his co-star and questioning his professionalism. He wrote at the time:<\/p>\n

\u201cSome conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don\u2019t. The ones that don\u2019t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I\u2019m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling \u2014 you\u2019re right.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With that, they haven\u2019t shared the screen again. However, The Rock did admit to later regretting the post, noting that it \u201cwasn\u2019t my best day, sharing that.\u201d And in June, Diesel confessed that the bad blood between them was due to him using \u201ctough love\u201d while producing Johnson in 2016. He explained to Men\u2019s Health<\/em> that he used the method \u201cto assist in getting that performance where it needed to be,\u201d adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a producer to say, Okay, we\u2019re going to take Dwayne Johnson, who\u2019s associated with wrestling, and we\u2019re going to force this cinematic world, audience members, to regard his character as someone that they don\u2019t know \u2014 Hobbs hits you like a ton of bricks. That\u2019s something that I\u2019m proud of, that aesthetic. That took a lot of work. We had to get there and sometimes, at that time, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Felliniesque, but I would do anything I\u2019d have to do in order to get performances in anything I\u2019m producing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To which the 49-year-old former wrestler then vowed to never return while talking with The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cI laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I\u2019ll leave it at that. \u2026 I wish them well on \u2018Fast 9\u2019. And I wish them the best of luck on \u2018Fast 10\u2019 and \u201c\u2018Fast 11\u2019 and the rest of the \u2018Fast & Furious\u2019 movies they do that will be without me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And now as the action movie franchise comes to an end, it appears Diesel is making a last-ditch effort to get his \u201clittle brother\u201d into the final installment by taking it to social media<\/a>. Posting a photo of their characters, Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs, the 54-year-old actor wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy little brother Dwayne\u2026 the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don\u2019t send well wishes\u2026 but the time has come. Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo [Paul Walker]. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10!I say this out of love\u2026 but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can\u2019t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
