\n Madonna is doing what she does best again: getting censored.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, Instagram obscured a video from the superstar\u2019s account for touting a conspiracy theory that claims a cure for the coronavirus has \u201cbeen found and proven and has been available for months.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey would rather let fear control the people and let the rich get richer and the poor get poorer,\u201d the caption read for the 61-year-old pop icon\u2019s 15 million followers.<\/p>\n

The censored clip features Dr. Stella Immanuel, a primary-care physician based in Houston, Texas, and major figure in the so-called \u201cAmerica\u2019s Frontline Doctors\u201d video, which has already been removed from major social-media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube and Facebook<\/a>. In the now-viral video, Dr. Immanuel claimed to have treated 350 coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine.<\/p>\n

The video on Madge\u2019s account \u2014 in which she declared Dr. Immanuel her \u201chero\u201d \u2014 soon app<\/a>eared blurred and re-captioned as \u201cFalse Information,\u201d alongside a link that lead to another page on the platform, which clarifies the claims.<\/p>\n

British singer Annie Lennox, 65, commented, \u201cThis is utter madness!!! I can\u2019t believe that you are endorsing this dangerous quackery. Hopefully your site has been hacked and you\u2019re just about to explain it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madonna, who said she tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies, has since deleted the post altogether \u2014 a perhaps surprising move following speculation among insiders that she is \u201cselling out to keep getting attention [on Instagram] and she doesn\u2019t know how weird she\u2019s coming off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since the COVID-19 outbreak took hold globally, the legendary artist has been keeping fans updated through her \u201cQuarantine Diaries.\u201d In one scene, the \u201cLike a Prayer\u201d singer is soaking in a petal-filled bathtub. She tells the camera: \u201cWhat\u2019s terrible about it is that it\u2019s made us all equal in many ways, and what\u2019s wonderful about is, is that it\u2019s made us all equal in many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for Madonna did not immediately respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The censored post comes after Twitter temporarily suspended Donald Trump Jr. for sharing a clip of Dr. Immanuel discussing the anti-malarial drug.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis virus has a cure: It\u2019s called hydroxychloroquine, zinc and Zithromax,\u201d says Immanuel in the footage. \u201cYou don\u2019t need masks. There is a cure.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
