In crypto, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly, people want their biggest bags to win.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will influence almost all communications, so don&#8217;t take what you see and hear as truth,\u201d he added, <\/p>\n<p>In response, Gokal emphasized that \u201cit doesn\u2019t have to be a fight\u201d as he argued that the goal for all people working in the crypto space should be to onboard \u201cevery human\u201d on to Web 3.0, and noted that: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c\u2019Knives out\u2019 implies we are trying to kill Ethereum. Ethereum cannot be killed, it\u2019s impossible. And it\u2019s already a beautiful force of good in the world, empowering millions and creating billions in wealth. Bitcoin is quite obviously the same.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to CoinGecko, SOL is currently the fifth-ranked digital asset in terms of total market cap with $71.7 billion, and is ahead of fellow \u2018ETH killer\u2019 Cardano (ADA) at sixth with $67.4 billion. ETH sits well ahead of the two in second place with a market cap of around $564.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Solana has been making up a lot of ground lately however. It&#8217;s up 11,742% over the past year to sit at $237.53, while ETH has gained 931% within that time frame to reach around $4,800.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I know you may not even be talking about <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/solana?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@solana<\/a>, and if so I apologize. but I\u2019m just sad and dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointed that every time non-ethereum chains like solana see success or take big swings at growing, it\u2019s seen as taking swings against incumbents.<\/p>\n<p>we are trying to grow the movement<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Raj Gokal (@rajgokal) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rajgokal\/status\/1458421357138546689?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 10, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Solanas_expansion\"><\/span>Solana\u2019s expansion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Earlier this week the Solana Foundation <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/conference.solana.com\/\">hosted<\/a> the \u201cSolana Breakpoint 2021\u201d conference in Lisbon, Portugal featuring guests such as Gokal, CEO and co-founder of Solana Labs Anatoly Yakovenko, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking on day one of the event, Gokal <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RZszqxOIn4I\">stated<\/a> that the Solana ecosystem has been \u201cexploding\u201d in 2021 across every vertical and \u201cuse case.\u201d The co-founder highlighted data showing 2.2 million NFTs were minted on the Solana blockchain within three months, along with more than $15 billion worth of total value locked in Solana-based DeFi as of Nov. 7 ($14.47 billion at the time of writing). <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-11\/d18aa716-0731-48a3-ae2d-ec52adbad1b6.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\">Solana ecosystem as of October<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>NYDFS-licensed Standard Custody brings Solana staking to institutions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a Nov. 12 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/messari.io\/article\/the-perpetual-sol-rise?utm_source=messaricrypto&amp;utm_medium=tweet&amp;utm_campaign=perpetual-sol-rise\">post<\/a> titled \u201cThe Perpetual SOL Rise\u201d from Messari researcher Dustin Teander, he noted that \u201cSolana has received sizable investor attention over the last quarter,\u201d and pointed to a long list of promising \u201cgrowth catalysts\u201d for the project. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn many respects, the price discovery has been healthily fueled across various sectors \u2014 a $100M gaming fund announced, Brave announcing native integration on the Web3 front, $100M investment from Reddit for Social Media, $40M raised by Neon Labs to bring EVM infrastructure over, pplpleasr launching NFTs on Solana, FTX building out an NFT integration.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, of course, there\u2019s Solana\u2019s DeFi ecosystem that has seen a 4x TVL expansion since September,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
