{"id":366169,"date":"2021-11-12T18:54:26","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T15:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/moviepass-is-angling-to-make-a-comeback-in-2022\/"},"modified":"2021-11-12T18:54:26","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T15:54:26","slug":"moviepass-is-angling-to-make-a-comeback-in-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/moviepass-is-angling-to-make-a-comeback-in-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"#MoviePass is angling to make a comeback in 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#MoviePass is angling to make a comeback in 2022<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>MoviePass, the movie ticket sub<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ion service that shut down in 2019 after losing more than $100 million in a single quarter, is looking to rise from the dead next year. <\/p>\n<p>MoviePass co-founder and former CEO Stacy Spikes, who now runs Pre<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technology<\/a>, bought the company, and is mulling ways to relaunch the service as movie theaters return to business following COVID-19 shutdowns, according to court filings. <\/p>\n<p>This week, a New York bankruptcy court judge approved Spikes\u2019 purchase of MoviePass for a paltry $14,000, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/ex-moviepass-ceo-to-test-a-second-act-for-the-failed-subscription-service-11636670757?mod=business_lead_pos11\">according to the Wall Street Journal<\/a>. No further details were disclosed on what that may look like.<\/p>\n<p>MoviePass fans have eagerly awaited a relaunch of the trailblazing service, as a new website, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/moviepass.ventures\/\">Moviepass.ventures<\/a>, teased a comeback earlier this year.
