While it might be Disney+ Day, there\u2019s still a whole world of streaming content out there, and Disney-owned Hulu is getting a new prequel to the Predator franchise called Prey\u00a0<\/em>in 2022.<\/p>\n

The new Predator film is set in the world of the Comanche Nation in 1719, which is enough to grab our attention. We had trouble dealing with Predators and their futuristic weaponry when we had guns and rocket launchers (and\u00a0Arnold Schwarzenegger). How will people deal with them with the array of weapons available more than 300 years ago?<\/p>\n

An all-new entry in the @Predator<\/a> franchise, \u201cPrey\u201d is set in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago. The image above does a fantastic job of setting the tone for the film. We see\u00a0Naru, a Comanche warrior, being stalked by Predator in the mist. It\u2019s creepy, eerie, and puts the disadvantage Naru and her people will be forced to deal with as Predator (or multiple Predators) invade their world into focus.<\/p>\n

As far as the cast and crew, 10 Cloverfield Lane\u2019s<\/em> Dan Trachtenberg will direct\u00a0Prey<\/em>. He also directed\u00a0pilots for\u00a0The Boys<\/em> and The Lost Symbol.\u00a0<\/em>It\u2019s also set to star\u00a0Amberg Midthunder.<\/p>\n

Prey<\/em>\u00a0is skipping theaters and coming exclusively to Hulu. Skipping theaters used to be a kiss of death for a film, but that\u2019s far from the case anymore. Of course, after the awful movie that was 2018\u2019s The Predator<\/em>, we\u2019ll need to keep our expectations in check for this one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
