The company also expects to grant the initial purchasers an option to purchase up to an additional $75 million principal amount of notes after 13 days from the date the notes are first issued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe notes will be senior, unsecured obligations of Marathon, will accrue interest payable semi-annually in arrears and will mature on Dec. 1, 2026, unless earlier repurchased, redeemed or converted,\u201d the announcement notes.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement, Marathon will use the raised capital for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> corporate purposes, like the acquisition of Bitcoin or setting up new Bitcoin mining devices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not factored into anyone\u2019s model,\u201d \u200b\u200bMicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor noted, referring to the newly-announced offering.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A publicly traded <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> miner <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MarathonDH?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MarathonDH<\/a> is raising $500 million in a debt offering to acquire bitcoin and bitcoin mining machines.
