Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y with how the program is playing out. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cTo be honest \u2026 especially as we\u2019re doing really well on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/disneyplus.bn5x.net\/nOQGR\">Disney+<\/a> in the US and the UK and other countries in the Americas, I don\u2019t see anybody going, \u2018Let\u2019s wrap it up, or figure out how to get out of it\u2019 at the moment,\u201d Jean explained. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019re the number one scripted show in the US, and with the new episodes as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Simpsons\u201d aired its 700th episode earlier this year, and Jean says he would be happy to keep the show going until it reaches 1,000 episodes \u2014 a feat which would not occur until 2033. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI calculated that if we make it to 1000 episodes, that\u2019s 12 more seasons \u2026 So I\u2019ll just be saying, I\u2019ll be very happy to be here in 12 seasons\u2019 time \u2026 [but] it\u2019s not just a hop, skip and a jump, it\u2019s a little further than that,\u201d he stated. <\/p>\n<p>The show has become a pop culture mainstay, with viewers claiming episodes have eerily predicted everything from Sept. 11 to the coronavirus pandemic. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"757\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/simpsons-first-episode_06.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Homer Simpson is pictured in the very first episode of &quot;The Simpsons,&quot;
