The letter claimed Miramax owned the rights to virtually all of \u201cPulp Fiction\u2019s\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>-related rights, including NFTs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In response, Tarantino not only continued on with his NFT plan but began aggressively promoting the controversial NFTs on social media, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/11\/16\/quentin-tarantino-sued-miramax-movie-studio-pulp-fiction-nft-auction-sale\/\">according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Miramax is now seeking not only money from Tarantino but also an end to his NFT auction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201c \u2018Pulp Fiction\u2019 is one of the many beloved, award-winning, culturally iconic films in the Miramax library \u2013 with its brilliant storytelling and unique characters who still resonate with audiences more than 25 years later, so it was profoundly dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointing to learn of this deliberate, premeditated, short-term money grab by the Tarantino team to unilaterally circumvent Miramax\u2019s rights to \u2018Pulp Fiction\u2019 though the illicit development, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/mobile.twitter.com\/tarantinonfts\">promotion<\/a>, and distribution of NFTs,\u201d begins a statement by Miramax\u2019s legal representation, Proskauer Rose LLP partner Bart Williams, that was sent to The Post. \u201cThis group chose to recklessly, greedily and intentionally disregard the agreement that Quentin signed instead of following the clear legal and ethical approach of simply communicating with Miramax about his proposed ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"498\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/quentin-tarantino-2.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"tarantino nft pulp fiction lawsuit\" class=\"wp-image-20170174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/quentin-tarantino-2.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/quentin-tarantino-2.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/quentin-tarantino-2.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Promotional material for the NFTs Tarantino is controversially promoting. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">tarantinonfts.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The statement goes on to note that Miramax is exploring NFT partnerships on its own and that in 1993 Tarantino signed away nearly all of his \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d rights to the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeft unchecked, Tarantino\u2019s conduct could mislead other Miramax collaborators into believing they have the rights to pursue similar deals, when in fact Miramax holds the rights needed to develop, market and sell NFTs relating to its deep film library,\u201d the statement added.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
