\n A British woman armed with a metal pipe tried to open the door of a Royal Mail van when a man app<\/a>roached her and demanded she back off, video shows.<\/p>\n

The 48-second clip, posted Wednesday on Reddit<\/a>, shows a woman dubbed \u201cBritish Karen\u201d casually strolling around a Royal Mail van while holding a large metal pipe before a man walks up behind her and asks what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you doing? What are you doing that for?\u201d the man asks, appearing to startle the woman. \u201cWhy are you doing that? You\u2019ve attacked my son\u2019s car three times. You pulled a sticker off it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The apparent neighborhood watchwoman then approaches the man while clanking the pipe on asphalt, video shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you quite legal, to park over somebody\u2019s drive?\u201d the woman asks.<\/p>\n

The man then starts to ask if the van was indeed blocking her driveway before telling the woman to keep her distance, citing the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t get too close please, because I don\u2019t want to breathe the same air as you,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell you are, unfortunately,\u201d the woman replies.<\/p>\n

The man proceeds to tell the woman to \u201cback off,\u201d further enraging her, the clip shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou back off,\u201d the woman yells, now walking toward the man, whom she accused of being a \u201cbully\u201d and thief.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou stop vandalizing my f\u2013king son\u2019s car,\u201d he replies.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou like stealing from your workplace,\u201d she continues. \u201cYou\u2019re a criminal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pressed by the man on what law he allegedly broke, the woman said: \u201cWell for one, you\u2019re using your phone, aren\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell it\u2019s good evidence, innit?\u201d the man replies.<\/p>\n

A second clip purportedly taken before the interaction shows the woman answering her door when the man accuses her of ripping what appeared to be a windshield wiper off the Royal Mail van.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy is it in your bin?\u201d the man asks, referring to her trash can.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so sorry,\u201d the woman says before grabbing the wiper and asking if the vehicle belonged to the man\u2019s son.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes it is,\u201d the man says before the woman grabs the wiper and says she\u2019s \u201cthe police,\u201d the second clip shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the police,\u201d she says while shutting her door. \u201cWe are the police.\u201d<\/p>\n
