Today on November 19, Japan’s national broadcasting station NHK announced<\/span><\/a> the 44\u00a0performers\/groups of its annual New Year’s Eve special live-broadcasting program,\u00a0Kohaku Uta Gassen<\/strong>, including anisong\u00a0singer LiSA<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. This year’s Kohoaku will be aired on NHK from 19:30 to 23:45 on December 31, 2021 (JST).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

She will make her appearance in the highest-rating Japanese music program for three consecutive years. In her first appearance in 2019,\u00a0she sang her 15th single song\u00a0“Gurenge”<\/strong>\u00a0(Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/em><\/span>\u00a0TV anime<\/a> OP). Then in her second appearance last year, she sang the “Kohaku SP Medley”<\/strong> that included “Gurenge”<\/strong> and\u00a0her 17th single song “Homura”<\/strong> (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0theme song).<\/p>\n

While this year’s song titles to be performed have not yet been announced, she is expected to sing either or both of her double A-side 20th single songs, “Akeboshi”<\/strong> and “Shirogane,”<\/strong> the OP and ED\u00a0theme songs for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the official announcement by NHK, LiSA posted her comments on her official Twitter<\/a> account: “I will be participating in the 72nd NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen. In this important year, the 10th anniversary of LiSA’s debut, with my gratitude to all of you who has brought me to the stage of the Kohaku Uta Gassen for the third time, I’ll do my best to deliver the song. I would appreciate your support.”<\/p>\n
