He wasn\u2019t a militia-wannabe but an aspiring cop\/firefighter\/EMT.<\/p>\n<p>Absolutely nothing suggests he was a \u201cwhite supremacist,\u201d as no less than Joe Biden claimed right before last year\u2019s election.<\/p>\n<p>And the men he shot were all attacking him when he pulled the trigger; all were white, and at least two had histories of violence.<\/p>\n<p>None of this makes him a \u201cpatriot,\u201d as ideologues on the other side insist. The worst \u2014 MSNBC\u2019s Joy Reid, for one \u2014 will never let it go. You can see them practically begging for there to be riots, an incredibly irresponsible position for Kenosha and the nation. Let\u2019s hope no one listens to them.<\/p>\n<p>The rank, politicized distortions of fact here \u2014 and in so many other recent incidents\u00a0\u2014 should teach everyone once and for all not to trust instant analysis or agenda-driven reporting.
