She recorded <i>Dome Trax<\/i>, a five-track EP full of aqueous synths that tingle the synapses, as the background music in a 25-foot-wide, 12-foot-high geodesic dome she built with fellow multi<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> artist <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/vhs_pirate\/\">Johnny Rogers<\/a> during a residency at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/merriweatherdistrict\/\">Merriweather District<\/a> in Columbia, Maryland. <i>Dome Trax<\/i> looped continuously inside the dome as Rogers&#8217; video projections played on its walls for the outside world to see. Reid released the EP on streaming and as a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amyreid.bandcamp.com\/album\/dome-trax\">limited edition cassette<\/a> today on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/soundaslanguage.bandcamp.com\/\">sound as language<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            <i>Dome Trax<\/i> runs for 25 minutes, but due to its cyclical nature, it feels timeless. Like the geodesic dome itself, it reads as both simple and ingenious, natural and alien. Droning synths bloom and warp endlessly as the record runs its course, rendering track designations irrelevant.<\/p>\n<p>            The new project follows Reid&#8217;s 2017 album, <i><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amyreid.bandcamp.com\/album\/hirsute\">Hirsute<\/a><\/i>, and her 2020 EP, <i><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/atlanticrhythms.bandcamp.com\/album\/isolated-bliss\">Isolated Bliss<\/a><\/i>.
