“#Did Abby Huntsman Just Come On The View And SHADE Meghan McCain?!

\nLast month\u00a0Abby Huntsman<\/strong> seemed to back her fellow conservative\u00a0Meghan McCain<\/strong> by blasting\u00a0The View<\/em> as having been a \u201ctoxic\u201d environment for her during her brief run on the show from 2018 to 2020. But in her return as a guest host on Friday she seemed to be a little more specific in her aim.<\/p>\n

We thought it was odd she would come back, even for a day, if it was so bad. But according to the pundit the negative element of the show is gone now\u2026 hmm, we wonder who that could be?<\/p>\n

Joy Behar<\/strong> began by asking Abby if she\u2019d missed the ladies around the table, to which she replied:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s fun to be back. I do miss so much of the show. I\u2019ve opened up more about why I left and when it happ<\/a>ened. The problem with media<\/a> today is it is so black and white. I\u2019m a very nuanced person, as you guys know. My politics are nuanced, the way I live my life is more nuanced.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Right, right. She also referred to her issues with the show as being nuanced, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy journey on this show wasn\u2019t one extreme or the other. There were some tough days, and there were executives here at the time and people here at the time that made too many of my days too difficult. All of them are gone. And you guys lived a lot of that with me. I think all of them are gone now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cPeople here at the time.\u201d We already know she\u2019s not talking about execs behind the scenes as she mentioned them separately. Who else is gone? Well, Meghan is. She surprised viewers and co-hosts alike by announcing she was leaving this past July.<\/p>\n

To us, it seems like she might have been throwing some subtle shade at\u00a0John McCain<\/strong>\u2018s daughter, whom an internal investigation at\u00a0ABC<\/strong> found was the one causing the toxicity. Perhaps that was true for Abby, as well?<\/p>\n

Speaking on her podcast\u00a0I Wish Somebody Told Me<\/em> about three weeks ago, Abby mentioned the show \u201crewarding people for bad behavior\u201d \u2014 could they have meant giving Meghan more publicity, etc, despite her being so unable to engage in healthy debate of ideas?<\/p>\n

Joy was rather less subtle, as she responded:<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I miss some of them. I do, I miss some of them. I mean, I don\u2019t miss\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She stopped short and let the audience finish the thought for her, saying instead:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe panel\u2019s perfect now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Zing. The audience laughed knowingly, and so did Abby, who said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI did miss you, Joy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hmm. Sounds like they\u2019re on the same page to us!<\/p>\n
