Walker watched the fourth quarter as the Knicks disintegrated in a 109-103 loss to the Bulls at United Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After playing against the Rockets on Saturday, Walker decided to give it a go again versus the Bulls on Sunday. He made the decision Saturday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wanted to play,\u2019\u2019 Walker said. \u201cI knew I was playing. I\u2019m feeling good. I\u2019m doing everything I can to take care of myself. Training staff, give those guys credit. I\u2019m taking it <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> by game. I\u2019m not playing all 82 games. It doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s back-to-back. I\u2019m taking it game by game. It just depends.\u2019\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the first time since early in the 2019-20 season Walker played both ends of a back-to-back set. Last season the Celtics wouldn\u2019t let Walker play back-to-back and he stopped playing many of them midway through the 2019-20 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Walker sat out one leg of the back-to-back set against Cleveland and Philadelphia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing is set in stone for back-to-backs,\u2019\u2019 coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game. \u201cIt\u2019s just communication with medical people. Kemba has a lot of say in it. I trust him. He feels comfortable. And he\u2019s done a great job taking care of his body.\u2019\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With Rose\u2019s effectiveness, Walker hasn\u2019t been able to adjust to less minutes and now has posted eight single-digit outings in his past 11 games.
