{"id":371571,"date":"2021-11-23T21:51:29","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T18:51:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/italy-fines-apple-amazon-225m-in-antitrust-action\/"},"modified":"2021-11-23T21:51:29","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T18:51:29","slug":"italy-fines-apple-amazon-225m-in-antitrust-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/italy-fines-apple-amazon-225m-in-antitrust-action\/","title":{"rendered":"#Italy fines Apple, Amazon $225M in &#8216;antitrust&#8217; action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Italy fines <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le, Amazon $225M in &#8216;antitrust&#8217; action<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Italy\u2019s antitrust watchdog has fined Apple and Amazon a total of more than $225 million for cooperating to restrict competition in the sale of Apple and Beats branded products in violation of European Union rules.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation found that provisions in a 2018 agreement between the US tech giants limited access to Italy\u2019s Amazon marketplace to selected resellers, the\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.agcm.it\/media\/comunicati-stampa\/2021\/11\/I842-\">Italian Competition Authority said\u00a0<\/a>Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The watchdog slapped Apple with a $151.32 million fine and Amazon with a $77.29 million penalty.
