Coinbase Wallet <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CoinbaseWallet\/status\/1463589935085142020\">said<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> that the addition of the BRD team would \u201chelp accelerate web3 adoption\u201d as well as provide \u201cdeep expertise in self-custody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing will change in the BRD wallet <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> and as always, your funds are safe and secure,\u201d said the BRD execs. \u201cIn the future, BRD wallet users will have an optional migration path to self custody with Coinbase Wallet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Formerly known as Breadwallet, BRD is behind the utility token Bread (BRD). According to data from CoinMarketCap, the token price <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bread\/\">surged<\/a> more than 500% within two hours of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of the Coinbase acquisition breaking, increasing from roughly $0.16 to $1.01.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>BRD&#8217;s CEO Dismissed Crypto Until Overhearing Andreessen Horowitz Execs<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BRD announced a number of expansions in 2020, including\u00a0updating its wallet compatibility to allow storage of Hedera Hashgraph&#8217;s HBAR token in June.
