The quality shouldn\u2019t be blurry to the point where you can\u2019t tell what something is in the footage, especially if the object is close up. Quality cameras should allow you to change the resolution and capture videos in at least 720p. However, higher resolution usually requires a stronger network connection for an uninterrupted video feed. Higher resolution also fills up storage space quickly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two-way audio: <\/strong>With two-way audio,\u00a0you can hear\u00a0audio that your security camera picks up and be able to respond through an app.\u00a0This can be a valuable feature for those who want to scare off\u00a0intruders by letting them know that you\u2019re contacting the police or if you want to say hello to the postman.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Motion detection and instant alerts.<\/strong>\u00a0Security cameras can detect motion\u00a0and then send\u00a0instant notifications to your phone.\u00a0If you\u2019re carrying your phone, you can respond im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely\u00a0to whatever your camera picked up. Your camera will then take a screenshot or video of the motion detected, which you view later through an app.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wireless or wired.\u00a0<\/strong>Setting up your security camera shouldn\u2019t be too difficult. You have two options. The first is to quickly set it up wirelessly\u00a0and run on battery life (hopefully a long one). The second is having it wired to provide constant power, which can take longer to set up. If you choose wired, you may need additional tools around to set up the camera, such as a ladder. Whether you go for wireless or wired, though, you\u2019ll need to connect your camera to your Wi-Fi, either on a 2.4 or 5.0 GHz network.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weather-resistant.\u00a0<\/strong>If you\u2019re\u00a0looking to place your camera outside,\u00a0make sure it\u2019s weather-resistant.\u00a0Security cameras can be expensive,\u00a0so you won\u2019t want to replace one just because it starts to rain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Night vision and spotlight.\u00a0<\/strong>Of course, you want\u00a0your camera\u00a0to see in the dark\u2014at least clear enough for you to observe everything that\u2019s going on.\u00a0Some cameras\u00a0can even monitor in full color during the night. Spotlight\u00a0is a feature\u00a0that makes your camera light up whenever it detects motion.\u00a0This is especially useful at night to direct the attention of unwanted visitors\u2019 toward your camera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>App control.\u00a0<\/strong>Being able to view and control\u00a0your camera and change various settings through an app is essential.\u00a0With app control,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0have full access to\u00a0your security camera remotely\u00a0and at all times,\u00a0assuming you have your phone on you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Video storage. <\/strong>One thing to remember about video storage is that you can\u2019t save everything your camera records permanently.\u00a0Most cameras only save footage when it detects motion, and that footage is what takes up space. This feature may be what you need to avoid having half the screen being blocked by a building.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Offline recording.\u00a0<\/strong>Since most security cameras need to be connected to Wi-Fi\u00a0to work,\u00a0they become useless during a power outage.\u00a0Being able to record for at least 30-minutes during a power outage can be valuable,\u00a0especially for high-security areas. It could also be distracting if you don\u2019t care about being notified about a passing car. Smarter\u00a0security cameras can\u00a0differentiate between people, animals, cars, and packages.\u00a0You can then\u00a0change your camera\u2019s settings to only be notified whenever a person or package is detected.\u00a0With advanced motion detection,\u00a0you can even set different zones for the camera to monitor. An example could be a \u201chot zone,\u201d where there\u2019s a lot of activity and you don\u2019t want to be notified\u00a0of any motion in that area.\u00a0Highly advanced cameras not only detect motion but can track it as well, just like what you see in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Built-in siren.\u00a0<\/strong>A brilliant advanced feature that some cameras have\u00a0is the built-in siren.\u00a0At the press of a button,\u00a0you can set off a loud siren to scare off trespassers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Facial recognition.\u00a0<\/strong>Similar to advanced motion detection, some security cameras\u00a0can use AI\u00a0to recognize faces over time.
