\n An Idaho teacher who suggested that Boise\u2019s mayor should \u201cget laid\u201d by Black Lives Matter members is now out of a job, district officials said.<\/p>\n

Rita Soltesz, who formerly taught music at the Idaho Fine Arts Academy and Eagle Middle School, got axed by the West Ada School district following the sexually and racially charged comment about Mayor Lauren McLean, a spokesman told the Idaho Statesman.<\/p>\n

Soltesz, whose last day was Friday, came under fire after district officials and parents spotted her July 18 Facebook<\/a> post referencing McLean\u2019s public condemnation of white supremacists who attended a Black Lives Matter protest in Boise, where some demonstrators were assaulted, the news<\/a>paper reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer white supremacist hater a\u2013 needs to get laid! \u2026 by BLM members,\u201d Soltesz\u2019s post read. \u201cShould be a group activity \u2026 and make it go viral! \u2026 I\u2019m still deciding if they should wear masks during the activity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soltez\u2019s controversial comment was a reply to an article detailing a recall campaign against McLean after she criticized the white supremacists who disrupted the Black Lives Matter protest, the Statesman reports.<\/p>\n

Another Facebook user took screenshots of the post and sent it to the Idaho Fine Arts Academy\u2019s Facebook page, KTVB reports. School officials later said the district would be taking \u201cimmediate action,\u201d according to the station.<\/p>\n

West Ada School District spokesman Eric Exline did not specify whether Soltesz was fired or if she resigned, the Statesman reports.<\/p>\n

District officials will now \u201cneed to reiterate\u201d its social media guidelines following Soltesz\u2019s post, Exline told KBOI.<\/p>\n
