\nFetty Wap was one of the hottest new rapp<\/a>ers out in 2014. He broke on to the scene with his diamond-certified smash \u201cTrap Queen,\u201d which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and paved the way for more success with hits such as \u201cMy Way,\u201d \u201c679\u201d and \u201cAgain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within a few short years, however, Fetty fizzled out following his meteoric rise to the top. Things got even worse for the New Jersey native this year when he was arrested on federal drug charges in a multi-million dollar bust. If convicted, he faces life in prison.<\/p>\n

There hasn\u2019t been much explanation behind Fetty Wap\u2019s career trajectory \u2014 until now. In a recent Instagram Live interview with Fat Joe, the one-eyed crooner spoke candidly about his fall from grace and started by addressing his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people I had around me wasn\u2019t experienced. Nobody was experienced, honestly,\u201d he admitted. \u201cThen the finance part, like, \u2018Yo, what\u2019s up with this? What\u2019s up with that?’\u201d<\/p>\n
