Perry made sure the cast and crew all wore masks. They all had breaks for water and to breathe throughout the day, but unless the cameras were rolling, everyone was masked.<\/p>\n<p>Perry made it clear that COVID-19 was not mentioned in any of the scripts for <em>Sistas<\/em> and <em>The Oval<\/em>. He said the following, per Variety:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAll these scripts were finished right at the time that COVID started to show up. And also, what I know about COVID is people are tired of hearing of it, and entertainment is escape, so I don\u2019t think my audience want to brought into more of what is happening in their reality. All of my work has been about escapism, so I\u2019m just going to hold to escapism.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A premiere date for neither series was revealed.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
