\n A Florida man walked into a bar \u2014 and claimed he was a \u201chealth inspector\u201d who would shut the place down if they didn\u2019t serve him a drink.<\/p>\n

Lance Walters, 27, stormed into Earl\u2019s Hideaway Lounge in the east coast beach town of Sebastian after the bar closed early Saturday, police said.<\/p>\n

When the manager denied his request for a drink, Walters insisted he was a health inspector and threatened to close down the business, Sebastiandaily.com reported.<\/p>\n

When that story didn\u2019t work, Walters allegedly claimed his father was the Chief of Police in Palm Bay.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt one point, the subject dared [the manager] to hit him so he could close the business down,\u201d according to a police affidavit quoted by the paper.<\/p>\n

The cops were called when Walters repeatedly ignored the manager\u2019s demands that he leave.<\/p>\n

Arriving cops found a reeking-of-booze Walters standing in the parking lot, still hollering at bar employees, police alleged.<\/p>\n

The cops, too, asked him to just leave. But Walters stood his ground and changed his story again.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe defendant stated his father also owned Earl\u2019s Hideaway and that he was allowed to be on the property,\u201d according to the affidavit quoted by the paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe defendant began raising his voice and getting louder. The defendant was given a last warning to leave the premises by finding a ride home, but the defendant again stated he was calling the Palm Bay Police chief,\u201d the affidavit said.<\/p>\n

Walters was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest without violence. His bail was set at $1,000.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
