Now he\u2019s in his [designer] Rick Owens bohemian phase. At one point he was obsessed with wabi-sabi, a Japanese design philosophy that is odd and eccentric. Those guys are douchey dudes and he is his own person. He\u2019s just a different guy. Whoever takes Jack\u2019s place at Twitter will be less distinctive than Jack.\u201d (Twitter CTO Parag Agrawal will take the lead.)<\/p>\n<p>Shareholders, meanwhile, could not be h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ier. When CNBC announced the 45-year-old\u2019s abdication, Twitter stock spiked by more than 11 percent. Maybe they were relieved to not be faced with any more stories like the time rapper Azealia Banks claimed Dorsey had <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/12\/18\/did-azealia-banks-offer-twitter-ceo-jack-dorsey-protection-from-isis\/\">sent clippings<\/a> of his Rip Van Winkle-like beard so she could use them for a protective amulet. Dorsey denied it, and Banks\u2019 Twitter post about it has since been deleted. The beard, meanwhile, has its own tongue-in-cheek <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dorseysbeard\">fan account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Dorsey has stepped down, either.<\/p>\n<p>He originally served as CEO for the first 18 months of Twitter\u2019s existence, from April 2007 until October 2008, when he quit to be replaced by the more buttoned-up Evan Williams. <\/p>\n<p>By the time Dorsey retook the post in 2015, his sensibilities had shifted from nerdy start-up founder \u2014 who once covered his nose ring with a Band-Aid when a boss asked him to get rid of it \u2014 to full-on bohemian. <\/p>\n<p>The former employee believes that Dorsey brought good things to Twitter\u00a0but that the tech guru has too many distractions to keep him in one place right now. But his interests were too expansive for him to be a focused CEO,\u201d the former employee said. <\/p>\n<p>Bilton is less generous. \u201cA lot of people,\u201d he told The Post, \u201cthink Dorsey is a checked-out CEO.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey has said he will focus more on digital-payments system Square and his philanthropy. Meanwhile, among the extracurricular interests drawing his attention is wooing some of the most attractive women on the planet. His go-to move for wooing females, meanwhile, was to present them with origami cranes he made himself.<\/p>\n<p>The former Twitter employee believes these ladies are attracted to Dorsey for more than just his billions: \u201cIt\u2019s not the money at all. He\u2019s legitimately interesting. That makes him a lot cooler than, say, Zuckerberg.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/jack-dorsey\/?sh=619809da2372\">worth some $11 billion<\/a> according to Forbes, grew up in St. Louis \u2014 where his mom was a homemaker and his dad an engineer \u2014\u00a0and now lives in a glass mansion overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. He\u2019s been said to breakfast on water, salt and lemon and to spend some 75 minutes each day walking from his home to his office. But he reportedly prefers working at home under infrared light, which is supposed to relieve stress. In 2019, Dorsey vowed to spend three to six months living in Africa, only to later declare it a mistake, and drew fire for visiting India and holding a placard that read \u201csmash Brahminical patriarchy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After visiting Myanmar on a meditation retreat, he hailed it as \u201can absolutely beautiful country \u2026 [where] people are full of joy and the food is amazing.\u201d Dorsey\u2019s seeming ignorance of the country\u2019s human rights violations led to a roasting on social media and a Tweeted scolding from Andrew Stroehlein, the European media director of Human Rights Watch: \u201cYou forget to mention you\u2019re in a country where the military has committed mass killings &amp; mass rape, forcing hundreds of thousands to flee, in one of today\u2019s biggest humanitarian disasters \u2026 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, Bilton sees the billionaire\u2019s let-it-all-hang-out style \u2014 which <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/08\/25\/beyonce-and-jay-z-cruise-the-hamptons-with-twitter-ceo-jack-dorsey\/\">includes yachting jaunts<\/a> with Jay-Z and Beyonce \u2014 as more calculated than it may appear. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDorsey truly does care what people think, very much so,\u201d Bilton said. \u201cHe wants them to think he will have a crazy legacy like Steve Jobs and put a dent in the universe.
