\n A Brooklyn court officer was suspended and is under investigation for allegedly posting images that depict the lynchings of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, The Post has learned<\/p>\n

Sgt. Terri Pinto Napolitano\u2019s gun was taken away and she was referred to the state court systems\u2019 inspector general<\/a> for an investigation over the post on her Facebook<\/a> page over the weekend, which shows doctored images of the former president and former secretary of state.<\/p>\n

Titled \u201cThe True American Dream,\u201d the post shows Obama hanging from a rope, with the words \u201cWe Will Not Yield\u201d and \u201cYour day is coming TRAITOR!\u201d<\/p>\n

The second photo app<\/a>ears to show Clinton as she is walked to the gallows by seven people, with the words \u201cIT\u2019S NOT OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SWINGS.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post, which has since been deleted, drew a sharp rebuke Saturday from New York Chief Judge Janet DiFiore.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis conduct is abhorrent, by anyone, at any time, and under any circumstances,\u201d DiFiore wrote to court system personnel. \u201cBut at this critical moment in our history \u2014 when our nation is reeling from the death of George Floyd and its aftermath \u2014 it is a sickening and unpardonable offense against every colleague in our court system, as well as the vast and diverse public we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe assure you that we have already begun the process and will take every step within our power so that this conduct is condemned and punished appropriately.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesman for the state Office of Court Administration told The Post Sunday that \u201cSgt. Napolitano has been suspended for 30 days\u201d and \u201chad her gun taken\u201d pending the inspector general\u2019s review.<\/p>\n

She was most recently assigned to Brooklyn Criminal Court, sources said.<\/p>\n

Napolitano could not be reached for comment Sunday.<\/p>\n

But the controversy drew the ire of some of the sergeant\u2019s colleagues.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s a disgrace,\u201d said one court officer who worked with Napolitano in the past. \u201cAbsolutely. You\u2019re going to boroughs where minorities are trying to move ahead and you disgrace the shield. She should be fired.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
