{"id":374943,"date":"2021-12-01T18:11:44","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T15:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/ethereum-nears-fresh-all-time-high-as-bitcoin-lags\/"},"modified":"2021-12-01T18:11:44","modified_gmt":"2021-12-01T15:11:44","slug":"ethereum-nears-fresh-all-time-high-as-bitcoin-lags","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/ethereum-nears-fresh-all-time-high-as-bitcoin-lags\/","title":{"rendered":"#Ethereum nears fresh all-time high as bitcoin lags"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Ethereum nears fresh all-time high as bitcoin lags<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Ether, the native currency on the Ethereum blockchain, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roached a fresh all-time high on Wednesday as bitcoin \u2014 the largest cryptocurrency in the world \u2014 lagged almost 20 percent below its record price. <\/p>\n<p>The price of ether rose almost 2 percent Wednesday morning from the day prior and was last seen trading at $4,692 per coin, just 3.5 percent below the crypto\u2019s all-time high of $4,858.82 reached last month, according to data from Coinbase. <\/p>\n<p>At the same time, bitcoin was down last than 1 percent over the last 24 hours to $57,665 per coin, about 17.5 percent below its record high of $68,778 per coin also reached last month.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s market capitalization is still almost double that of ether at nearly $1.1 trillion, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\">according to CoinMarketCap.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ether, and many other smaller cryptocurrencies, have largely traded in tandem with bitcoin as the rise in price of the world\u2019s largest cryptocurrency has been seen as a sign of greater acceptance of the sector in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But the recent action puts ether\u2019s performance well above that of bitcoin.
