\nCardi B has officially joined the Playboy family. Two weeks after being nominated for a 2022 Grammy,\u00a0the New York-bred rapp<\/a>er was named Playboy\u2019s first-ever Creative Director in Residence.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (December 2), Playboy announced Cardi will additionally head Playboy\u2019s new creator-led platform CENTERFOLD as the program\u2019s Founding Creative Director.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough her unapologetic commitment to free expression, her dedication to lifting up artistic voices and her celebration of sex and body positivity, Cardi is the embodiment of the Playboy brand,\u201d Ben Kohn, Chief Executive Officer of PLBY Group, said. \u201cI also can\u2019t think of a better creative visionary to partner with us on the launch of CENTERFOLD. CENTERFOLD will revolutionize the creator economy just as\u00a0PLAYBOY<\/em> magazine shook up the publishing industry nearly 70 years ago \u2013 and Cardi is the perfect shepherd into this new era.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Grammy winner will be in charge of Playboy\u2019s artistic direction and help craft sexual wellness products, digital editorial content and exclusive merchandise aimed at expanding Playboy\u2019s brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a dream come true to officially join the Playboy family,\u201d Cardi said in a statement. \u201cI can\u2019t believe this is real, for as long as I can remember, I\u2019ve felt connected to Playboy.
